Polish journalists have tested electronic cigarettes with police breathalysers. The results are unequivocal: e-cigarettes, just like regular cigarettes, do not impair the psychophysical efficiency and do not influence the ability to drive. Only a part of nicotine fluids contain ethyl alcohol with a maximum concentration of 10% vol. E-cigarette liquids also do not contain any narcotic substances....

On 22 January 2014 the draft of the Tobacco Directive has been approved by the Public Health Committee of the European Parliament.
